This new symbol for love was created with children in mind. While the single heart () is widely recognized and used for many purposes, it doesn’t always reflect the deep, nurturing love children need. Sadly, research shows that 80% of troubled children report feeling unloved or lacking love during their childhood.

The  ❤❤❤❤ symbol represents "hearts filled with love," an ideal message for children. The People Technology Foundation—supported by generous donors, including former UK Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher—is seeking contributions to raise awareness among parents, educators, support groups, and caregivers. The goal is to promote  ❤❤❤❤ as a reminder to teach and nurture love in children's lives.
